''Eupithecia extraversaria'' is a moth in the Geometridae family. It is found in most of Europe, except Fennoscandia, Estonia, northern Russia, Great Britain and Ireland.〔(Fauna Europaea )〕 It is also found in Iran.〔, 2012: New species of the genus ''Eupithecia'' Curtis (Lepidoptera, Geometridae, Larentii-nae) from Iran. The larvae feed on the flowers of various Apiaceae species, including ''Pimpinella saxifraga'', ''Bupleurum'', ''Pastinaca'', ''Angelica'' and ''Peucedanum'' species.〔(Schmetterlinge und ihre Ökologie )〕 Larvae can be found from the end of July to the beginning of September.
